White Glove has declared
Unfortunately the ubiquitous nuisance creeps up everywhere, but it doesn't have to get the best of us. So we've deliver an ultimatum to the pesky particles: "Get out and stay out!"
Dust Driving You Nuts?
Our multi-method formula for controlling dust:
Superior Dust Filtration Vacuuming
White Glove uses Shark vacuums with its exclusive Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology® that means in addition to a HEPA filter for maximum dust and allergens filtration, the vacuum system is completely sealed so dust and allergens cannot escape into the air before they reach the HEPA filter. Because particles down to 0.03 microns in size are trapped, Shark vacuums have the Seal of Approval of The British Allergy Foundation. You can’t find a vacuum that filters more dust than this! And we maintain our vacuums to ensure the complete seal technology is not compromised.
Microfiber Cloth Dusting
Your cleaning team uses microfiber cloths as part of White Glove’s dusting process. Because the split fibers create a positive charge, they are great magnets for attracting dust particles, which have negative charges. We use microfiber for safe dry dusting of hardwoods and other dusting and cleaning without chemicals or oils.
Brooms and dust mops may be deadly for some dust bunnies, but they're great for just moving lots of dust from one place to another. White Glove uses HEPA vacuuming of all non-carpeted floor areas (as well as carpeted floors, of course). Dust in higher places, such as vents, is removed either by a lambs wool duster, a special vacuuming tool, or by hand.
To help maximize dust removal, some situations warrant the use of Endust dusting and cleaning spray that helps to control dust dispersion while removing fingerprints, smudges, and allergens. Endust does not contain silicone, which is not recommended by furniture manufacturers because it can penetrate into the finish making them slow to evaporate and extremely difficult to remove. Besides boosting removal of dust, Endust leaves a natural shine without any residue buildup. It is a blend of premium cleaners citrus and other oils, solvents, and surfactants, with no waxes, alcohol, vinegar, ammonia, or acetone. White Glove also uses Pledge to bring a brilliant shine to some surfaces without buildup. It is not generally known that Pledge also has no silicone and leaves no residue buildup, and it also removes up to 90% of allergens in dust.
Ostrich Down Feather Dusters
Don’t feather dusters just make dust airborne so dust settles someplace else? Yes and no.
getting dust airborne is the idea, which is a good thing. Feather dusters are used to get into places we can't reach with our microfiber cloths. We work the dust off so it settles on the floor (not on other furnishings) so it will be vacuumed.
White Glove uses only premium 100% ostrich down feather dusters. We do not use cheap, brightly-dyed synthetic dusters, or chicken feather dusters. Ostrich down is extra soft, pliable, and flexible. If used properly, dust is attracted to the feathers by static electricity. By tapping the duster on your ankles the dust coms off onto the floor for later vacuuming.
But no professional cleanologist would use a feather duster in heavy dust situations. The surface would be wiped with a microfiber cloth. So, quality feather dusters are valuable and effective in well-maintained homes where dust is controlled on a regular basis.
