Executive Team Manager

If you have the "right stuff" we have your right career.

A team manager for a new district serves as the leader of the district’s cleaning team, and the team’s supply and equipment manager preparing materials for each workday. In addition, the manager assists in administrative duties for the team and for new teams as they are formed.

We Train You

You don’t have to go to college or trade school to learn the skills required for working at White Glove. Our very own training division called “White Glove Cleaning Academy” has everything you need from basic cleaning procedures to management and leadership skills.

White Glove is the perfect place to start an exciting, new career because we offer opportunities to climb up the company ladder. Dedicated employees, who have helped our company grow, can also grow their careers with advancement to positions with greater leadership and management roles.

As the customer base in the district grows, the team manager may want to aspire to becoming the district’s operations manager. With additional training, the manager can move up to Assistant Operations Manager, and then to District Operations Manager.

Operations managers with excellent job performance records have the option of becoming owner of their own White Glove cleaning business as a franchisee at no cost!

An Exceptional Career Opportunity for The Exceptionally Qualified

Again, the #1 qualification is the “Right Stuff.” If you do not completely identify with the example given on the previous page, please go no further. You must have the Right Stuff to be considered, and if you do not, it will be obvious early on. But, if that’s you, here are other basic qualifications:

  • Have a cell phone & computer (laptop or desktop) in your home, not just access elsewhere. In addition to on-the-job training, you will train on the Internet and by video conferencing.  You must be able to use it for daily communication by texts and emails.

  • Home Space for Supplies & Equipment  As manager of supplies and equipment for your team, you will store these materials as you prepare for each workday. You will also need to wash cleaning rags and mop pads once or twice a week. (You are paid extra for serving as your team’s S&E manager.)

  • Residence Qualification  You must live in the geographical territory for which application is made. White Glove takes pride in serving its customers by locals who live in or near their city.

  • Have a Car  Dependable transportation is an absolute must. This means your vehicle is kept in good operating order at all times. Your vehicle must have space to transport at least 3 people (including you), and cleaning supplies and equipment.

  • Willingness to Attend Meetings and Workshops  Training and employee meetings, and professional development workshops are held outside of regular work hours. Sometimes you are paid for your time; other times you are not. Either way you should be willing to attend in order to grow professionally and be better at your job. A meeting or workshop may be in-person or done by video conferencing. In-person meetings may be held early morning, evening, or on Saturday. They are not frequent. As an example team leaders have a 3-hour workshop on a Saturday twice a year.

  • Pass a Thorough Background Check  Unquestionable honesty and moral strength is a must. We cannot hire anyone with a record of a serious crime(s). Depending on the offense, past or current drug or alcohol abuse may be unacceptable, especially if such abuse negatively may affect work performance or occasional or frequent absences.

  • Professional Demeanor  As someone in a management and leadership position interacting with staff, customers, and the public, a professional image is necessary. Excessive visible tattoos, unusually colored hair, and unkempt facial hair may be offensive to some.

  • Character Traits

  • Dependable/Reliable Can you be counted on to fulfill your responsibility in any situation? Are you consistent in attendance?

  • Outgoing & Friendly Friendly with a pleasing personality. The ability to get along well with customers and coworkers.

  • A Team Player Basically, a team player sees that working as a team is more productive than working only for oneself. A team player pitches in any team effort living up to his/her individual responsibilities.

  • Management & Leadership Ability Do you have a tendency, or a strong ability, to lead, guide, and inspire others to do their best and to achieve mutual goals?

Questions & Answers

Q: I think I have lots of good things about me that would make me a great worker, but I just can’t find the right job where I can prove myself. Would this be that job?

A: You probably have had dead-end jobs where the employers just wants unskilled labor. These jobs offer little chance for advancement to better-paying positions. Being a team manager with White Glove is an ideal way to prove your abilities and advance with a good career. You could even own your own business with White Glove.

Q: Why does this job have so many qualifications? And why is so much emphasis placed on the “right stuff?”

A: A strong work ethic is the core of our company’s success. White Glove is a respected cleaning business with an excellent reputation. We must hire only well-qualified individuals who identify with our goals. As a White Glove employee, you not only earn above-average money, but you also can hold your head up high with pride that you are part of an elite team of skilled professionals.

Also, we train you and give you opportunities to lead and manage in our business and you advance. We will even give top performers their own White Glove business with customers as a franchisee—free of charge! You can see that we must hire the good, motivated people with a strong potential to succeed.

Q: I am really excited about this job, and starting a real career. I’ve only jumped from one job to another, and I’m tired of this. I want to make something of myself but I don’t have the much education and skills. Would I be considered for this job?

A: Everything that happens in our lives are a result of decisions we make. If you really feel confident that you can and will succeed, be honest with us and express your strong personal drive and motivation. Remember, we will train you so you will have the skills to succeed. Apply!

Q: How much will I be paid?

A: First, the pay as a team manager is $15/hour plus you earn extra pay for miles driven as a team leader and for managing your team’s supplies and equipment. Of course, the better your job performance, the greater your wage with raises. Plus you can advance to better-paying positions. We pay better than any cleaning service that we know of!

Second, employers are suspicious of applicants who are focused on pay. Employers focus on the qualities and abilities of applicants, and if they will be good workers in helping the company meet its goals and be successful. Be focused on doing a great job; then you will always make good money. Money doesn’t make you a good employee; you make yourself a good employee, and money will follow you.

Q: How long will it take to move up from a trainee to being a team manager?

A: That depend on (1) how quickly you do complete your training, and (2) how well you do your work and get good job performance evaluations. To get a better idea, see the Training & Experience Schedule on the next page (click below).
