One afternoon a man came home from work to find total mayhem in his house. Two of his children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house.
Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and two other children were concocting something with dough, most of which was on them, the counter and floor.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened. He found her lounging in the bedroom, still curled in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.
She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.
He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"
She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and ask me what in the world I did today?"
"Yes" was his incredulous reply.
She answered, "Well, today I didn't do it."

- We provide all cleaning supplies and equipment. You may supply any cleaning agents or equipment that you prefer us to use.
- You are assigned a two-person team. We try our best to see that you receive the same team each time, but it may be necessary to substitute a person on occasion.
- We work on an appointment basis. Our teams try their best to be on time, but if they are going to be more than 15 minutes late, you will be called.

Special instructions by the homeowner are welcomed and will be followed. If requested and supplied, we will gladly use homeowner's special cleaning agents or equipment.
- Floors: mopped/sanitized, and dried to best possible shine; inc. thresholds; We always use a clean, fresh mop
- Carpets: thoroughly vacuumed, inc. edges/under beds if accessible; rug fringes combed neatly. We use at least hypo-allergenic filtration to minimize dust; we are now incorporating HEPA filtration in our vacuums.
- Doorknobs: cleaned/disinfected
- AC/Heating Vents: vacuumed or dusted
- Banisters, light switchplates: cleaned/disinfected
- General dusting: with duster; obvious marks wiped clean on top and flat surfaces of furnishings inc. lamp shades, blinds, ledges, between banister spokes, and window sills
- Walls, light fixtures: obvious marks wiped clean; light fixtures dusted or washed depending upon accessibility
- Doors, front and back: obvious removable marks, fingerprints, spots, etc. wiped clean; recesses wiped clean
- Computers/televisions: obvious marks, fingerprints, spots, etc. wiped clean; glass screens cleaned
- Telephones: obvious marks, fingerprints, spots, etc. wiped clean; disinfect mouth/ear areas
